Spend the day with a hospital pharmacist: 

1. Explore the different roles of an acute care pharmacist
2. See the multidisciplinary approach to hospital medicine
3. Learn about the different academic paths to pharmacy careers:
    A. Pharmacist
    B. Pharmacy Technician
4. Opportunities may include:
     A. Observe sterile compounding
     B. Participate in non-sterile compounding
     C. Calculate patient-specific medicinal needs
5. This experience is limited to high school students only

This opportunity is valid for the reminder of the current school year, through the end of 2026-2027 school year. Summer dates may be explored. 

The pharmacist will not be responsible for student's travel. Date and location to be coordinate in advance with pharmacist; availability pending work schedule.
